I’ve always thought from day 1 this “beef” between Mariah + Nicki was fake; and was a result of the producers over the show to boost ratings which backfired big time. They brought J. Lo who can barely sing (no shade bc I love her + she’s from my borough) and the ratings still declined. It was very wrong for them to blame Mariah + Nicki for that when the show was falling apart before they became judges. I’m glad Mariah finally said something.
SN: Nicki shouldn’t have been a judge on singers when she’s not a singer herself. They clearly used her to try to bring in younger viewers which didn’t happen. I’m glad they’re FINALLY letting the show go!
