Last week’s news cycle found itself dominated by the story of Rachel Dolazel, a senior figure in the National for the Advancement of Coloured People who had been pretending to be an African-American woman.
Now, after one of her close friends came forward to clam she had hired him to serve as her ghostwriter, Iggy Azalea will learn that she has been compared to Dolazel by an Aboriginal writer from her homeland, Australia.

After learning of Dolazel’s story Nakkiah Lui took to Twitter to make the comparison.
Nakkiah’s comments come after Iggy was berated on social media for her response to an interview given by rival artist Azealia Banks.
In it, she accused of Azalea’s handlers of using her ethnicity, and not her talent, to fuel her career in the African-American dominated field of rap.
Lui’s remarks also come after the prominent YouTube personality Kid Fury claimed Azalea was very aware of how her ethnicity could be used to propel her further than the African-American Banks.
