Chart-topping female rappers Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea may not have the best documented history with each other, but their respective fan bases – #Barbz and #Azaleans – figured their nearly decade-old rivalry had cooled as the two exchanged pleasantries as recently as last year (as we reported here).

Moments after Minaj’s fifth studio album, ‘Pink Friday 2,’ arrived on digital shelves Friday morning (December 8), listeners gravitated to its housed cut ‘FTCU‘ (an acronym for “f*ck this club up”) – particularly a line that seemingly throws shots at Azalea.
“I still got the juice, b-tch, buy a sippie / I will never slippy, like a Mickey / Stay in your Tory lane b-tch, I’m not Iggy / I know that these n-ggas tryna bang like Chiddy,” she raps on the ATL Jacobs-produced cut.
The lyrics marks a clear reference to the rumored romantic relationship of embattled rapper Tory Lanez and the ‘Fancy‘ hitmaker – a connection that not only earned jeers from her own fans but also saw her slammed for pleading with a judge in defense of his character after he was convicted for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
Some #Barbz argue the line is actually a diss to Meg, who Minaj previously enjoyed chart success with thanks to the 2019 smash ‘Hot Girl Summer.’
Either way, Azalea nor Stallion have responded to the perceived slam as of time of this report.
