The R&B royal that is Usher stepped out in style yesterday, snapped about and about in Los Angeles.
The TIDAL supporter was snapped by paps after he returned to the studio to rebuild what would have been his ‘Good Kisser’ led album, going back to the drawing board after its first two singles failed to fly on the Billboard Hot 100.
Does he still have it in him to nab numbers akin to ones secured by Justin Timberlake’s ‘The 20/20 Experience’ or Beyonce’s ‘Beyonce’?

Lol, Usher is no spring chicken. He’s three years shy of turning 40. He was photographed just coming off a plane. I think he’s aged well (see video of him singing the National Anthem).

I love me some Usher but its 2015 he needs to be more honest with music. He makes good music but nothing to relate too.

And then people have the nerve to shade real legends who being older and having done it all on a worldwide level still release projects which are released more on time and ven more success then these younger people´s. A perfect example of how mainstream music went downhill from 2000 and on. Legends who conquered the market before that are more relevant today than the big names that conquered the market after 2000.
Lol even though you don’t necessarily like me, again I have to agree with you. So much emphasis and backlash for a certain legend, but others get to flop, delay, and shelf their projects without a peep. ????????????

Hell no Usher will never do Beyonce and JT numbers again. That’s why he haven’t released the album yet. He knows he want do their numbers. I want be surprise if Usher never release anither album again. Unlike Trey and Chris who can release flops and want get compared to the people like Beyonce and JT, but Usher will.
I don’t really care if his new album does big numbers or not, just as long as the quality is good. I sometimes feel like this might be his last album. He did say he wanted to be retired by the time he was 40.
Why are Usher’s albums sales are compared to Beyonce’s and Justin’s latest when neither one of them has reached the sales of Confessions, 8701 or My Way as solo artists?
Because Confession was 10 years ago, and Beyonce and Justin are still going multiplatinum today. Trust me JT has sold as much as “Confession” with FSLS. Usher’s last album,L4M barely went gold. Usher has an ego,that’s why he’s afraid to release his new album. It will FLOP too.
Confessions is Diamond in the U.S. Meaning 10 million copies sold alone domestically. That’s what JT sold in total WORLDWIDE with FSLS (fantastic album btw). I wood agree with you if you had your facts straight.

Usher is in the Trey Songz/Chris Brown category. He’s still considered a major male R&B artist. Even though he probably might not sell 1 million copies. I have no doubt that UR can debut at #1 and pull the same amout or even more then X or Trigga. He still has alot more successful singles in him (I Don’t Mind). And just like Rihanna, J Lo,Chris Brown ,and Jason Derulo. Usher can still sell singles and can still perform on major award shows (Grammy,VMA,IHeartRadio,BET,AMA),tour, and headline events. But hes not an album seller which is acceptable in 2015. He is a singles artist now.
