Like millions the world over, Beyonce was touched by the heartbreaking effects of Hurricane Harvey in her hometown of Houston.
In the immediate aftermath, the superstar singer pledged her support and assured that she was working with her team to implement a relief plan.
Now, said planning has come to fruition.

Taking to Facebook, Bey wrote:
“We [me and BeyGOOD] are supporting Bread of Life and Greater Houston Community Foundation to help Houston following Hurricane Harvey. Your donations will help with the immediate needs and rebuilding efforts of my city.”
The following message was then posted on the singer’s official website:
Join us as the BeyGOOD team heads to Houston to continue our relief efforts on the ground. We have teamed up with Bread of Life and Greater Houston Community Foundation, who have been working with the displaced from the start of Hurricane Harvey’s landfall.
Again, much respect to Bey and all the other names rallying together to support those in need.
We know (factually) that she does much more than is publisized too. Salute.
