Stay on topic Diabetes. In terms of this cover, Beyonce’s original version is way better IMO. This is a female anthem. We don’t need no monotune white girlboy trying to cover it. Plus, a strong woman can be on her own whereas a strong man knows that he needs a good woman (or man thesedays lol) to hold him down and make him better.

LOL Lemonade is a love it or hate it situation. I’m sorry but the Beyonce music I love and still blast to this day are from her earlier albums like Dangerously In Love, B’Day, 4, and some of the songs from I Am Sasha Fierce. Dangerously in Love was well crafted and safe yet full of well crafted r&b music. I love that album the most. B’Day was a grower for me. I remember on first listen I recognized Upgrade U and Irreplaceable as instant hits but it is those unreleased songs from the B’Day era like Backup and Lost Ur Mind that were pure fire! 4 was well crafted and a very nice return to rnb. I liked that whole album. Her self-titled album was also not my cup of tea even though I liked the short song Partition. So essentially, it is just her last two solo albums I disliked but I know she will return to making the type of music that I like so it’s all good. What are ur favorite songs from Dangerously In Love and B’Day?

Cool. Im gonna have to listen to Lemonade again. Maybe I’m missing something. Hopeully she releases another SOLO album next year and same goes for Jay-z. They do better as solo lead artists. This joint album should have been fire but it sounded rushed and not well thought out or promoted IMO. They should go ahead and release the second single / video from it because they were photographed filming a music video in Jamaica last month so I assume it is from this new album.

This sounds a mess from the intro to the first verse. I just can’t hear no one singing this classic hit song of it’s not going to be done right. I’m not even talking about Zayn…I’m talking about the chord progression…it’s not even in sync with the melodic phrasing and THATS what makes it so difficult for me to listen too. This is a small detail, but makes ALL he difference. So, I’ll pass on this. Smh
