Azealia Banks sent her dedicated fans into a frenzy in early October when she not only teased new music but declared she had “finally outdone” one of her most commercially successful singles to date: 2011’s ‘212.’

And while she spoke rather ambiguously about the forthcoming song at the time of her self-praise session, Banks took to X (formerly known as Twitter) before the month closed to confirm the new music is coming sooner that some may think.

Zayn Malik wasn’t shy to express how the “heartbreaking loss” of One Direction bandmate Liam Payne impacted him personally and professionally.

“I lost a brother when you left us and can’t explain to you what I’d give to just give you a hug one last time and say goodbye to you properly and tell you that I loved and respected you dearly….I feel right now other than beyond devastated,” he said after reports of Payne’s death hit the news.

Going on to share his inaugural solo world tour, ‘Stairway to the Sky,‘ would be postponed during his mourning period, Malik did give anxious fans a glimmer of hope when he promised new dates for the jaunt would likely be announced for the top of 2025.

Keeping his word, Zayn has lifted the lid on the rescheduled itinerary for the global jaunt.

With the shocking death of Liam Payne in Argentina continuing to reverberate, Zayn Malik has spoken up and out.

The pair rose to global prominence together as teens in One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan after being formed on The X Factor UK.

Malik would leave the group in 2025 ahead of its disbandment in 2016. However, as expressed in his emotional tribute, he makes clear that he has “lost a brother.”

As reported, authorities have confirmed that the late singer jumped to his death from the third floor of his hotel in Argentina. Multiple sources assert that the performer was under the influence of both drugs and alcohol.

Zayn Malik is hot on the promotional trail for his latest album, ‘Room Under The Stairs.’ 

To further promote the album, he appeared as the musical guest on the May 21 episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.’ While there, he took the time to perform his song ‘Alienated.’ 

The stripped-back song set the tone for an emotional performance from the singer, who appeared on the show in simple clothing. He wore only a t-shirt and some jeans as he delivered his stunning vocals.

‘Room Under The Stairs’ was released on May 17 and serves as his fourth solo album away from One Direction.

Three years after Zayn Malik released his third studio album, ‘Nobody is Listening,’ he is back with his latest release in ‘Room Under the Stairs.’ 

The project is a sonic detour for Zayn, who has explored country music on this album. He previously mainly focused on R&B and pop music. However, this time around, he enlisted Dave Cobb as a producer.

To continue the project’s success, Zayn has released a new version of the album with ‘Z-sides.’ The additional songs include some demos and some songs that were cut from the project.

Three years separate Zayn fans from the release of his ill-fated third album, ‘Nobody is Listening,’ but the wait for a new project ended Friday (May 17) when the award-winning singer unveiled his new LP ‘Room Under the Stairs.’

A 15-track affair, ‘Stairs’ is set to start its climb up charts on the back of lead single ‘What I Am‘ as well as teased track ‘Alienated.’

To sweeten the pot of the project’s arrival, he also gifted the new song ‘Stardust‘ the visual treatment.

“Feels like stardust / Floatin’ all around us / Shootin’ right across a / Big black sky / Feels like stardust / Fallin’ all around us / Funny how it found us / Pretty high, pretty high,” he croons over Gian Stone production.

Zayn has long let the music do the talking since setting sail on his solo journey.

Indeed, the former One Direction star has stuck to delivering his material in recorded form than performing it live. The rationale for which he has been open about in the past.

However, with a album comes new perspective.

Because Zayn has unwrapped a live performance of ‘Alienated’ – the latest offering to be served up from his fourth studio LP ‘Room Under the Stairs’ (which is due on May 17 via Mercury).

Speaking on the release, the star said:

“‘Alienated’ was the first song I wrote for the album, so it kind of set the tone for the whole project – it shaped the way I  wanted  to  approach  the  sound  of  my  own  voice, the styling of the guitars and the overall sonic direction.”

Zayn is zooming towards the release of his fourth studio album, ‘Room Under the Stairs’ and he’s inviting the masses to learn more about the set ahead of its arrival next month.

For, moments ago, the former One Direction star unlocked the official tracklist for the project – which also dubs as his first at his new label home, Mercury Records.

Led by the single ‘What I Am,’ Zayn has revealed that another taste of the LP will be served up in the form of ‘Alienated.’ The track has been confirmed for release this Friday (April 12).

With the clock ticking toward the May 17 unveiling of his fourth solo studio album, ‘Room Under the Stairs,‘ singer-songwriter Zayn is undoubtedly hoping fans are making room on their playlists for his new music.

The latest taste from the Mercury and Republic Records-releasing set comes courtesy of the Dave Cobb-produced ‘What I Am.’

Zayn is wasting no time cranking up the buzz machine for his fourth studio album, ‘Room Under the Stairs.’ 

Freshly announced yesterday (March 13), the set arrives due May 17 via the star’s new label, Mercury Records.
