The success of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s ‘Watch the Throne’ has incited many-an-artist to express desires (or forthright plans) to follow suit.  Interestingly, Jay’s protege, Brooklyn’s don diva Foxy Brown, caused quite the commotion with mention of her own joint project – a failed duet album with Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige.  Said to have been titled ‘Best of Both Girls’ – a play off the Jay-Z/R.Kelly ‘Best of Both Worlds’ album, the Ill Na Na shared news on the project and what caused its halt.

Although aimed at a certain younger and far more commercially potent rival of Ms.Jones,  the song ‘Black Friday’ does indeed feature a line which many music enthusiasts agree remarks on an near death incident involving Ms. Brown.

Which many say came as a result of her long standing war of words with the former jail bird.
