Sans the group’s founding member Oritse, the ‘Desert’ singers hit the venue with a number of their closest pals, including British Olympian Louis Smith- almost a year after the group collaborated with Def Jam singer Elijah Blakeon their fourth studio album, ‘Evolution’.
Time sure flies when at the top. Four years have passed since Pop quad JLS blazed onto the UK charts and the period within has seen the group notch up five #1′s and 10 million record sales worldwide.
With their fourth album ‘Evolution’ continuing their success-trend, we caught up with the boys to chat to them about the project, its markedly more “Urban” sound, breaking the US, solo projects and more.

Indeed, that’s how long JLS have been on the Pop radar and is also the duration of time it’s taken for them to embrace a more “current” sound. Still, as the saying goes, better late than not.
Tonight saw the quad return to the stage that birthed their careers, The X Factor. There, they showcased an edgier sound and look with new single ‘Hottest Girl In The World’ – the lead release from their forthcoming album ‘Evolution’ (due November 5th).
