Halle Berry new show ‘Extant’ will be back.
The Sci-Fi hit, which follows the life of an astronaut who returned pregnant after a stint in space, has proven a steady ratings performer for CBS – who have awarded the series a second season.

Entertainment Weekly report that the Steven Spielberg drama has officially been renewed for another order of episodes.
The news will come as a relief to all involved with the show, after its fate was deemed to be in limbo by some industry analysts.
After all, the first season’s finale commanded a humble audience of 5.4 million viewers; which, though more than its preceding episode, was a far cry from the 9.58 million that watched the show’s premiere. On average, the series was watched 8.64 million during its freshman run.

What’s not winning is the show itself. It was not good. Dragged on forever. Probably would’ve been better as a movie.
Of course it’s renewed! It’s Ms.Berry get with the winning Team!!
I tried, but I didn’t like this show at all. It was extremely boring for most of the episodes. It would get interesting for a few seconds each episode, but it wasn’t enough to hold my interest.

So, they started off strong in the ratings with two big names attached to the project — Berry and Spielberg — and the ratings have since declined. Something about this show just isn’t working. They should have cancelled it.
The show has not been well received by critics at all. I have not seen it but I was kind of excited. Not anymore really.
It was a good TV series, But I think people lost patience with seeing the Alien Baby. They kinda dragged the story line a bit and waited still the end of the series to show him
I enjoyed this show and all the acting performances, especially Halle’s. I think a part of the trouble with the ratings was that it was a summer show and most people might have been out and about enjoying summer. I hope the second sseason comes hard tho. I’ll tune in.
