The ‘Star Wars’ actor has signed up to head to the London stage to revive the 19th century drama ‘Woyzeck’ as he continues to ride on the box office rocking ‘Wars’ box office rocking wave.
Often described as a working-class tragedy, Woyzeck centers on a low-ranking soldier who undergoes dehumanizing treatment that pushes him to commit a shocking act of violence. The Old Vic website calls Thorne’s update an unforgettable howl of rage for our time.
Directed by Joe Murphy, the play is set to run from Feb. 25 through April 15 next year.

Wow, he fills out a suit/tuxedo nicely. He’s definitely thick in all the right places (?) and extremely talented. Good for him!
Force Awakens was basic. Well done and well paced but basic and formulaic. Just like the average Marvel flick. Thank goodness for blockbusters with ambition, sophistication and art in them: Fury Road, Interstellar, Planet of the Apes and yes some of the DC films.
