‘High By the Beach’ beauty Lana Del Rey is still riding the wave of a social and professional high.

In addition to watching her latest singles ‘Music To Watch Boys To‘ and ‘Beach’ make notable splashes on the Billboard Hot 100, the trap-pop diva also saw their parent album – ‘Honeymoon’ – sail right to the #2 spot on the Billboard 200 (with very little promotional push to support them).

Now, as fans await news on how she’ll close out her 2015, the singer took to Billboard to discuss plans of acting and even shared her thoughts on motherhood and her ever-constant fear of death.

Next January will see Brandy step into the role of Zoe Moon on new BET sitcom ‘Zoe Ever After.’

The Grammy winner will play a cosmetics mogul, who’s juggling her high-flying career with motherhood. She’ll also deal with the aftermath of her relationship with her son’s father – who is still very much on the scene.

With its premiere fast approaching, the network have unveiled a funny first look at the romantic comedy.

Snow may be in the forecast for many parts of the U.S., but that hasn’t stopped R&B king R. Kelly from throwing themes back to summer.  Indeed, in serving up yet another taste of what fans can expect from his forthcoming project ‘The Buffet,’ the ‘Pied Piper’ picked ‘Backyard Party’ as its newest single.

A stepper’s affair that isn’t exactly the most family friendly of cookouts (see: bikini clad ladies, etc.), the video even sees cameos from some very familiar faces like Snoop Dogg, Chance the Rapper, and more.

Longtime guy pals The Weeknd and Drake continue their friendly rivalry on the Hot 100 as their songs ‘The Hills’ and ‘Hotline Bling’ respectively rule the chart for yet another week.

But, even as steam around ‘Hotline’ rises, it still wasn’t enough to dethrone Weeknd who sees his hit ‘Hills’ reign for its 5th week (with its latest extension due in great part to popular remixes from Eminem and Nicki Minaj).

And, while Weeknd has much cause to celebrate, his celebration may be cut short if the response to ‘Bling’s long-awaited music video is an indication.  For, industry analysts believe the push from the visual may be just what’s needed to make Drizzy the new king of the hill.
