As charts are on track to reveal, it’s a great time to be Drake and Future.

For, with anticipation for their mixtape ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ (in stores now) reaching an almost feverish pitch, industry analysts are already lending predictions for what the set will move its first full week of availability.

After Future’s last project ‘DS2’ and Drizzy’s ‘If You’re Reading This…’ mixtapes both landed at #1 upon their respective release weeks this year, the expectation for ‘Time’ is undoubtedly high.

That Janet Jackson reign just won’t let up!

The Queen of Pop brought even more heat to the hyper hot Miami last night when her ‘Unbreakable World Tour’ pulled into the American Airlines arena.

Jackson, 49, journeyed through 32-hits including ‘All For You,’ ‘Feedback,’ and ‘Nasty.’ As well as performing fan favorites such as ‘All Night (Don’t Stop),’ she was also sure to weave in new material from her upcoming album ‘Unbreakable’ including the Missy Elliott assisted ‘BURNITUP!’

It goes without saying that the sold-out crowd of 19,000 enjoyed in earnest.

‘How To Get Away With Murder‘ actress Viola Davis is  now the first African-American actress to receive the Emmy award for ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series’ after she earned the coveted gong during last night’s ceremony in Los Angeles.

Her groundbreaking win came before the series returns for a second season on September 24th and came accompanied by an acceptance speech that pays tribute to the African-American humanitarian Harriet Tubman.
