Aretha Franklin is back.

As reported, the Queen Of Soul is readying a new album – under the stewardship of Clive Davis – titled ‘Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics’.

Set for release on October 21st, the intriguing project sees the legend pay homage to a carefully curated list of classics and has thus far spawned a cover of Adele‘s ‘Rolling In The Deep’. 

Today, though, brings with it another cut from the LP. This time it’s Franklin’s take on Gloria Gaynor‘s classic anthem ‘I Will Survive’, which she has fused with Destiny’s Child‘s mega-smash ‘Survivor’.

Peep this pic of musician Wiz Khalifa, rocking a bold new hairdo following his separation from video girl Amber Rose.

Sporting purple dreadlocks, the entertainer shared his new hairstyle with the world billing it “Purple Rain“, seemingly unbothered by Rose’s claims that he cheated on her, and that their impending divorce was causing her a great deal of pain.

All roads lead to next week for popular powerhouse Jessie J. The sassy songstress’ new album ‘Sweet Talker’ will strut into stores on October 13th – following a high octane promo campaign.

Today marks the release of Keyshia Cole‘s sixth studio album ‘Point Of No Return’.
