Singer Lauryn Hill was recently interviewed by TV Maniacs, following a concert in France. The reclusive star, spoke on a number of issues including her comeback, the current state of the music industry as well as The Fugees situation.
It’s a pretty interesting interview. She wasn’t as ‘out of it’ as many would have you believe; yet I couldn’t help but notice that she rarely looked at the interviewer or into camera. Whatever it is that she’s going through, I hope she can overcome it. Having said that, she did have a few valid points.
What do you think about the interview?
WHAT HAPPENED TO HER???? She looks terrible, nothing like her Miseducation days. I know she might be on anti-depression medication, but still what’s up with the hair, and make-up?

She may be a little out of it, but shee knows what she’s talking about.
And she’s a legend, so it hardly is suprising that it’s taken a toll on her.
But she is onpoint about hip-hop today. She’s just very wise.
Poetic interview. If she does make a come back, it’ll definitely be different. I hope she does well. She looks kinda like Oprah here.

she doesn’t look bad, she just looks like she doesn’t care what the world thinks and i respect that! she doesn’t sound out of it at all, she sounds very intelligent and sane! go lauryn!
the make up really threw me for a moment. but then i realized the probably had literally just stepped off stage. so i got over it. what she had to say though was on point. and i’m glad to have seen it because recent interviews from Pras and Wyclef have her sounding like a nutcase. She didn’t seem that way at all here. Hope she’s doing well and gets back into her passion…
With the way she has been looking lately I expected her to sound crazy as hell … but from her interview she seemed to be more with it than I thought.
Lauryn Hill is GONE. She doesn’t have the material to be something again. I WILL grant her, when i see [Lauryn Hill] i’m ALWAYS interested. That was a s***** thing for her to do regarding Fugees, but whatever.

hmmmm…she is a profound woman, you can’t deny it. She’s just not the same woman she was years ago..she’s in a differnt place mentally. You gotta respect that. Even with that said…I MISS the old Lauryn artist wise. 🙁
