Rihanna Performs ‘Shut Up & Drive’ On David Letterman Show

Rihanna stopped by the David Letterman show last night to perform ‘Shut Up & Drive’. I don’t know if I’m alone in thinking this, but it seems like since ‘Umbrella’ Rihanna’s project has been all over the place. I mean, why is she still trying to promote this single when: a) it’s already semi-tanked and b) she has another single out ‘Hate That I Love You’? Anyway, the performance was the same ol’, same ol’ – nothing more, nothing less.

What do you think of the performance?

I agree with her performances and promotion of singles are really not in sync…at all past umbrella.

On the plus, I really like the feel of this song and really like it for her voice but I’m STILL waiting for her to ROCK OUT on this song…..performances are improving…..just still waiting for that ROCK OUT moment!

She’s launched many singles for different fan bases but her personal promotion of them seems to be struggling.

the reason she is still perfoming this song is because of all the endorsement deals and commercials it has been on like top model it has been used also in nascar and in the uk and other commercials, within the just the last month.

This b**** is so manufactured. Her music ain’t worth s***. Why are people with real VOICES not getting shine? Being cute just ain’t enough in my book.

Her album is not a flop. She has sold around 700,000 copies already. Check sound scan this week and you will see I am right. How is that a flop?
