It has been confirmed that pop superstar Janet Jackson will be performing at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards on February 10th. Renown dancer Blake McGrath, who is part of Janet’s team, revealed the news during an interview with MTV Canada, further stating that Janet is currently in rehearsals for the big show. {Source}Janet joins the Grammy performer line-up which includes Beyonce and the Foo Fighters.
This one should be interesting; if Janet knocks this one out of the park…her ‘comeback’ will be cemented.

first janet jackson is the best female proformer of all time. those who don’t think must have been children on her last sold out world tour in 2001. i like beyonce but i don’t love her she has not been around for 35 years like janet there always comfort in knowing that little penny from 30 years ago is still around, B i’m not sure her 9 year career can’t compare at this point she’s not a legend yet.
Beyonce puts on a good performance? Name me ONE. Janet always brings it. Look at her performing Doesnt Really Matter @ the VMAs. Flawless.

This is wonderful news, T4P! I love me some Janet and I can’t wait to see her perform Feedback at this year’s Grammy Awards. It’s so awazing that Janet still has that spark she originally had when she debuted many, many, MANY years ago.
As for those of you who continue to call this year as Janet’s comeback year, comeback performance, comeback album or whatever, it’s so not a comeback at all. Janet didn’t actually go into space to shoot that video ya know. She’s been on planet Earth this entire time. JUST BECAUSE her last album didn’t sell MILLIONS doesn’t at all mean it was a horrible album or that she lost her touch as a music artist.
I hope that Janet delivers at Grammys and continues her (almost) flawless legacy.
beyonce puts on a good show.. but she’s no JANET JACKSON.. Janet could just stand on a stage and command the audiences attention with out saying a word.. ex: the bet awards 2006 all she did was walk across the stage and commanded the audience.. let’s not forget the billboard awards performance.. u tell me when beyonce has ever came close to putting on a performance like that.. All “B” does is throw her hair around, haller, and do easy choreography that my lil sister can pick up after watching the performance 1 time.. i will give her the vocals.. but performing and putting on a SHOW!… hands down JANET JACKSON.. and to prove my point..JANET don’t need to use Tina Turner to gain extra hype! her name alone does it!

she will give a great performance… she’ll blow the grammys away! but i didnt really like the fist part of the FEEDBACK video… the dance routine wuz way better… going to do the “space” thing is so HYPE WILLIAMS- TLC- NO SCRUBS thing. The Beyonce/Tina Turner performance is SO GONNA BLOW! CAN U IMAGINE BOTH OF THEM DIGGIN IT ON THE FLOOR… its so reminiscent of USHER/JAMES BROWN PERFORMANCE…like 3 grammys ago.
