Supermodel-turned talk show host Tyra Banks features on the cover of the February issue of Essence magazine. Banks speaks on a number of things, including her feeling worry that she’s yet to be a wife or mother:
“I’d go to work and women would be crying in my arms on the talk show. But then I’d go home and put my key in my door and … nothing: no friends, no husband, no children. I feel so full when I’m at work but so empty when I come home.” {Source}
Any thoughts?

AW TYRA BABY DONT WORRY ABOUT IT. YOUR TIME WILL COME, JUST BELIEVE IN GOD, AND HAVE FAITH THAT HE WILL DO IT FOR YOU. JUST BE STRONG! HE WILL NEVER LET U DOWN, COME ON LOK AT WAT HE HAS DONE FOR YOU THUS FAR!
I agree with d comment above. Some people are in the exact opposite position; with kids, husband/wife and still can’t afford to have 3 square meals a day. But we all have to be grateful still to Almighty. Try and participate in more charities like orphanages, motherless babies home etc. God works in mysterious ways.
Tyra looks so cute on this cover. I might have to go pick this up. As for Tyra’s comment – She just needs to learn to be lonely. No one needs anybody else. We only need ourself!
If she’s really desperate, then I suggest that she anounces it on her show and then the men will come running. lol
Giving those five-minute warnings before transitioning away from playtime has saved our sanity so many times. What helped us take it a step further was using a simple visual sand timer on the table so our toddler could actually see the time running out instead of just hearing us nag. It totally takes the pressure off us being the “bad guys” when it’s time to pack up!
