Saw the trailer & I must say, Ali & Idris seem to do a good job, however Beyonce isn't carrying her character very well, rather on the WEAK side. I'll pass on this one & wait til it comes out on a rainy Sat afternoon on Cable when I have NOTHING to do.

The movie is over 2 hours long. You cannot say her performance was weak by a 2 minute commerical. People just hate on bee because they want to be different from everyone else. The movie looks great.

The poster looks cheap like a BET Blackbuster movie cover . -thumbs down – I can’t say Beyonce couldn’t act in Cadillac records ,she wasn’t good but at the same time I disnt see the point in having her in the movie the advertisement made it like it was about Etta James when she was in the last 20 minutes of the movie . like DREAMGIRLS was about jennifer hudson and they lead you to believe it was about beyonce .And can somebody tell me why Idris head is half cut off ?!

Beyonce is a horrible actress. She should stick to singing. No, I’m not hating just telling the truth. When she acts all I can hear is a terrible southern draw (accent) and all I can see is a terrible lack of acting skills.
