Amidst unconfirmed reports that she is about to go on tour, diva Mariah Carey is set to debut her video for her new single, ‘H.A.T.E.U.’ The Brett Ratner-directed clip is set to premiere later this week according to Mariah’s management. ‘H.A.T.E.U.’ has thus far peaked at #76 on the Hip-Hop/R&B charts.
Hopefully this video is ‘the business’ because, quite frankly, nobody seems interested in either this song or the album. It’s really a shame though, as the track is undoubtedly one of the best records off the album, and is lyrically and vocally fantastic. Here’s to hoping that things work out for this one.

Hate U is an epic song , the album its self was great. I really feel like her label screwd her , all this time for a video. Releasing IWKWLI , its just beyond me. Hopefully with some great promo , a great vid., this song will blow up like it should.

It’s unfortunate because the album is very good. Better than E-MC2, a close act behing Butterfly….that being said, both Mariah and the Def Jam are to blame. If she would stop getting in her own way and just focus on the music and not try to act like she’s 19, folks would not be turned off…it’s time to grow up….Yet, I understand her frustration with the record company, Obsessed should NOT have been a single and neither should I Wanna Know What Love Is…it’s a shame because it’s a great CD.
The video will be horrid. We all saw the unflattering bathing suit pictures which she had no business trying to squeeze into. Being in a bathing suit on the beach has nothing to do with the song and its going to be just like all her other videos; her scantily clad, hair blowing, and boring. Epic fail. Its time to grow up Mariah and do something different for your videos.

Mariah is basically pulling a Kelly Rowland and Letoys Luckett with this album. It’s a great effort with great songs but she is releasing the wrong singles and is promoting it very poorly as well. HATE U is a nice song but not a single-worthy effort esepcially not now when ppl are listening to other types. It’s A Wrap with the right video wouldve been grand.Betcha Gon Know wouldve been wonderful especially with a video because of the storyline. Even Candy Bling woulda been a better choice. Frankly she had one of THE best albums but no one will know because of the promotion she DIDNT give it

TEOM is her best album but definitely MOAIA comes 2nd to that!
MOAIA shows Mariah’s different emotions and the songs were just perfect… Well, not only Mariah is getting the beating but other artist as well… sigh…
