R&B star Monica took to the stage in Baltimore this past weekend to perform a special concert. During her set, the veteran journeyed back to her past hits as well as giving live renditions of her newer material. Above you can see how she faired with new single ‘Everything To Me’, as well as buzz single (and the theme to her BET reality series) ‘Still Standing’. As ever, Ms. Arnold knocked it out of the park. Can’t wait for the album.

It’s not that she can’t sing, I think the reason why monica isn’t doing as good as she used to is b/c of her production team. She isn’t getting the promo she should be getting and that reality show isn’t enough either. I also think she should change her producers she works with. Try something new!!
Umm WRONG! Sorry not this time around..Monica realizes what needs to be done. She has been doing her thing building up buzz. She has been all over NEw Orleans, Alabama, New York, Miami, Baltimore, and just left Pittsburgh! Her schedule is back and this single is an instant hit. Ask anyone who listens to real music. This is the Monica they want. I can’t wait until she blows people who doubt her out the water. She knows what she is doing. People kill me swear they know so much about this business. She got this.

Monica wasnt doing well because the singles that were picked werent her it wasnt the music she had been giving fans for number of years. But now she knows what her fans want and she said it herself you either want a gimmick or real music her fans obviously choose real music. Weather she sells like she use to wont matter because all in the end if she is pleasing her fans then nothing else matters.

I went to da concert n it was one of da worst I been to.. the opening acts was Paula campbell, algebra n Eric robertson (I think) they all give ok performances they perform longer each of them performed for 30mins.. Monica was 3 hrs late.. n she performed about 10songs that lasted for 30mins.. she came out lip singing.. or mayb her mic was broke but after that it was a gd performance.. what messed the show up was her lateness n the lil time she performed
This performance is flawless!!! Monica, as always, brought her A-game, she’s not playing around. Her time to shine is now and yáll better support this movement.

YOU CAN HEAR THE WHITNEY INFLUENCE IN HER VOCAL STYLING TOGETHER WITH THE GOSPEL/RNB ROOTS. TOO BAD SHE DOESNT SELL. SHE NEEDS A BETTER PR TEAM TO GET ON THE HIGH PROFILE TALK SHOWS AND TV EVENTS.

Ok first of all @ EAIN I was there at the concert. She does not lip sing AT ALL. Her mic was messed up and they fixed it so move on from that. She actually stayed longer than she was suppose to. If you would have asked you would have known! Next to JOR people are checking for her. People want real music. Just like that Melonie Fiona song came out and blew up on the charts so will Monica. We need ballads and they know Monica will deliver. Who gives a damn about record sells. Not many people are selling that well like they use to back in the day. I know that listening to the fans is important but somethings telling me the same people who say “Real Music” are the same folks that forget about the young people. What do u think their interpretation of real music is? Monica needs to straddle the pop/r&b fence, Soul artist arent SELLING. with the exception of Maxwells amazing comeback u gotta find an in between sound ….Honestly this single sounds tooo Mature to capture white,black, young and old…Hope it does well anyway because she is such a major TALENT, If “Everything to me” doesnt work they can always rush to another single like “One In A Lifetime”.
