I love GaGa too. I’m a “little monster”. But I also realize that while she does dance music and weird clothes really well, she didn’t invent either of these things – Madonna and Janet Jackson did lol.
Seriously though, when Xtina or Gaga sells in excess of 100 million albums and revolutionizes what it means to be a female pop star like JJ and Madonna, then we can talk about who’s stealing from them. Until then, they BOTH are just imitators of those that came before them.
And Xtina’s single is awesome. It’s not struggling on the Hot 100 sam, which is the chart that REALLY counts, not that wack ass iTunes chart.
^^^Don’t count iTunes out. iTunes is the force behind singles on the Hot 100. Had it not been for iTunes, NMT wouldn’t have made it to #23. Nowadays things like a lot of airplay aren’t even needed because of iTunes sales. Just take Britney’s Womanizer for example. The song jetted from #96 all the way to #1 on the Hot 100 thanks to iTunes sales for the most part.

NMT was only was released 2 weeks ago! It normally does take a few weeks for a song to climb up the charts. Usher, Fantasia, Monica, Justin Timberlake, even Lady gaga’s songs all debuted very low on the charts but eventually worked their ways up but no you never recognized those songs as struggling. NMT is doing better than Alejandro on the Hot 100 so I’d say that Alenjandro is struggling.
