It looks like Kelly Rowland is going to make her fans wait a lot longer for her new LP. The singer has just announced that her still untitled album will be released in 4 months on September 14th. The record, which is still under construction, will include Rowland’s 1st international single, ‘Commander’, which was penned by Rico Love. This will mark Rowland’s 1st release under her new label, Universal Motown. {Source}

This is pathetic, September? Are you serious?! Kelly’s people backing her must be some kind of nervous. I noticed the trend and most artist in need of career building release singles 2 months prior to an album dropping. Kelly needing 4 months is beyond words. This is what’s going on people: Her label is allowing Kelly enough time to see if this single takes off and bombs, so that they can leak new ones until something sticks. If that’s the case Commander will be a “teaser” and the “real” single that will carry the album will be considered her first. If these little Kelly fans thought a video was a problem, what will it be when Bey release her next cd by the year’s end? I’m so glad that all these things were being planned and was already known, because I don’t want to see these people having another pity party for Kelly and start complaining that Bey is ruining their lives by releasing her music! Enough already, grow up!
Like I said before, for the sake of Kelly’s mentally unstable fans and gay queens all over the world, I hope this album doesn’t flop. I’m not going to throw shade today, but I want you stans to stop arguing and go out and purchase this album. It’s like her last chance at any type of relevancy. For once I want an album to pushed up instead of back. I guess we wont get the Commander Video till the end of June. Sept is a long time away for a single to be played on the radio now and be followed by a SUCCESSFUL album. Kelly Needs to push that up at least a month or so… just my opinion
