Not to mention the two other Bilboard Hot 100 and global #1’s after Umbrella off of GGGB, including Disturbia and Take a Bow, both of which were released well before the incident. Rehab, Don’t Stop the Music and Hate that I Love You, were all top 20 or better in the US, UK, and scores of other countries, and guess what? Yeah, I’m sure I don’t have to tell you, but all of those singles were released in 08’ before Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna.

@Riley Your’e right. I broke up with someone and my friends did like him anyway. But the things they were saying about my ex was just horriable. After all this was the man I was with for 4 years. Them saying those horrible things made me so sick on my stomach. Everytime I was around them my ex’s name came up. Little did they know they was really hurting me. y’all hate Chris but he played a role in Rihanna’s success. He’s not talented yet he wrote one of her biggest hits and her first to go 3x platinum….Disturbia! Rude Boy was written by Ester Dean and like she said her and Chris are friends and they ALWAYS write together. She said even though his name may not be on the writing credits he still adds his influence to it. Hmmmm so Chris….Rude Boy….Ester Dean…..Rihanna…Make perfect sense!! Even though Rihanna is singing and performing those songs she still doesn’t make much money off of it because it’s going to her label. Rihanna is making her money off touring and most of that is going to her label. They lost alot of money because they thought Rated R was gonna be as big or bigger than GGGB. So they spent tons of money promoting. Y’all are sitting behind a screen talking and yapping about Chris while he’s collecting Royalty checks from miss Riri
