Stunning! I love Brandy’s style, usually she’s does well in that department. She had a few mishaps lately, but she does learn and even make up for them. I can’t wait for her return to music and I know the next cd she drops will be fiiiiire!

I hope so too. Brandy has it all going for her, musically she never lets her fans down and vocally she leaves everyone else in the shade. While other artists keep their image hot and their music safe, Brandy always keeps the content real and the music heavy. Hell her B-sides are better than most singers A-sides and she’s one of the few artists who can be both neo-soulful and edgy at the same time.
Where she really fails a lot of the time is with her promo and image. She got pregnant during Full Moon which although a personal blessing I’m sure, derailed that project promo-wise while the image for Afrodesiac was really inconsistent when it should have been everything Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad era was, in terms of colour palette.
When all’s said and done though she’s too relevant to fade. Human for me was a misstep sonically but I understand why she had to put out that album before she could come back confident. It was her apology album and she clearly felt the need to appease the audience who blamed her and thought it would have been poor taste to come back sassy after the accident. She’s paid her dues though IMO where that’s concerned so it’s time to pick up where Afro left off…, she has it within her grasp, she just needs to stay consistent and cover all areas this time; Image, Music, Tour, Internet and TV.
