The-Dream found himself in a tricky situation last week when he commented on the state of Ciara’s career, when he claimed that her upcoming ‘Basic Instinct’ project is basically her “last chance” at major success. Now, after being slammed by Ciara’s fans, deleting his Twitter pages and taking shots at That Grape Juice for reporting the news, Ciara herself has come to his defense. Check out what she had to say below:
Angela Yee asked Ciara about it and while she admitted The Dream’s comments “came out wrong” she insisted that there’s no bad blood between the two. “Let me tell you one thing about Dream, if you don’t know him you’ll misunderstand him,”Ciara said in his defense. “One thing about him is he has a big heart, you know so he never means to come from the wrong place however sometime when he speaks, he might say something and it comes off a certain way. So I talked to him and I really got on him. I was like ‘yo what are you talking about!? I don’t even understand what you’re trying to say.’ But we talked about it. We’re like family…it did come out wrong but it’s all love. We’re like brother and sister.” {Source}

I just listened to “Ride” for the first time. She really doesn’t have any vocal ability, does she?
How is “Ride” flopping? It took forever for Alicia Key’s song to get to number one, or even to get into the top ten. I give it three more weeks before you can call it a flop, its just one of those songs that takes a while to get hot. Its called, not getting OVER PLAYED. That is a good thing in my opinion.
I’d rather Ciara get a hit with her fans, rather than a song gets so overdone and outplayed that I don’t even want to listen to it anymore! Even though that will never happen with this song.
