R&B-Pop star Alesha Dixon is hard at work promoting her new single ‘Drummer Boy’, the lead release to be lifted from her latest LP ‘The Entertainer’ (due September).

Sigh. Though a solid enough performance (particularly on the stage-spectacle front), it didn’t dilute the fact the song is distinctly mediocre. A shame, as not only does the track boast the ingredients of a hit (it just doesn’t mix them together), Ms. Dixon’s appears to have upped her live performing game.
Still, with healthy radio airplay and a pretty good video to boot, ‘Drummer Boy’ does indeed look poised for success.

The song is pretty lame when it somes down to it but it is catchy, after 2 plays it was stuck in my head and at least she’ll get a hit out of it.
I just hope she has some more songs like “Breathe Slow” too because everybody loved that! :p
