Fantasia ‘Man of the House’ Cover

Published: Saturday 7th Aug 2010 by Sam

Peep the official cover for the the latest single to be lifted from Fantasia‘s ‘Back to Me’ LP, ‘Man of the House’.

While the MS-Paint inspired cover pretty much tells the story of this ‘Back to Me’ era so far (cheap and badly handled), ‘Man of the House’ goes hard. What’s more, along with ‘Move On Me, this appears to be one of album’s best chances at spawning a chartable hit.

Fantasia’s new project is gonna be a chart breaking, grammys winning, AMA’S winning and more and more and more…. Go Get it Fannie

I think this is a great choice. It’s kind of a independent women anthem, so I think a lot of the ladies are probably feeling this especially.

thumbs up if im a r*****

These derek blanks photos are the PITS gorl.. That wig is a fool.

The only question I still have is where is “ex-you”?? Did they damn lose the song or couldn’t afford it?? The chorus we heard on tv alone shits on these other tracks. This era is dead to me. If it wasn’t for that song I wouldn’t even comment

Fantasia’s music and appearance is just ghetto, and no one buys ghetto. Who wants to buy an album with titles like “Collard Greens & Cornbread” “Man of the House” and “I’m Doin’ Me” from an R&B singer? That sounds like titles for a rap album. In the words of Simon Cowell, “I’m just being honest.”

Knuck, I agree with you about Ex You. I was hoping that was on the album, but I guess I was wrong because I NEED that song in my life. If they released that as a single, I know it would be number 1 on the charts! I just hope she doesnt loose fans because of the song not making the album. Ive already came across a couple of people on youtube who said the only reason they were going to buy the album was because of Ex You and Cant Be Without U, and now that its not on the album, they dont care no more…not a good luck. Shes losing fans instead of gaining them! But I dont blame her, I blame her record label.

Man of the House is an ok song but it is far from “going hard.”

Nice cover hate the song though

Whoever thought that The Worst Part is Over should be a Japan-only bonus track is just completely crazy!

This project has been badly handled. ‘Even Angels’ was an amazing track, but they couldn’t be bothered to even make a video for it!

you can get “The worst part is over” if you pre-order the album on iTunes

    It’s not a Japan-only bonu track anymore 😉

Love this song!!!!!! Goes hard for real.. The beat is nasty!!! Her runs and ad libs are beat .. My only reservation is that this song leaked 3 months ago.. It has potential to be amazing.. Plus neyo wrote it soo thats a good buzz….but i dunno how well it will chart bc it leaked soo early… I need j records to get it together…. They s*** on tasia everytime.. I think it may be time for a new label real talk!!!

  12. Rd August 7, 2010

Tasia has the talent to be at the top .. I want soo much for her to be the underdogg that wins at the end of the day… But shes not as marketable bc of image, and it seems as if her record company dont know how to handle her level of talent.. But i bet u jhud will get all the promo needs and her drbut didnt do nearly as well as tasias debut did!!! *smh* somebody please get tasia with the right people!!!

i like the look she’s sporting for this era. she looks good in person.

HOWEVER, this photo is completely unacceptable.

  14. Robier August 7, 2010

    Hmmmm She appears depressed lol

  15. Terrell August 7, 2010

RD, you ain’t never lied. Tasia does need to get with the right peeps because her potential is being wasted by bad decisions from her label. J Records must be run by crackheads. The fact that they can’t successfully package someone as talented as Fantasia will go down in history as proof that they are incompetent. I feel sorry for any new artist that signs to that label, it is career s******.

Loves the song “Man of the house” and i think it would be a good 2nd single from the album its up to the label if they promote it like it should be but yea she should found another record label because she is the best out and they wont let her get no shine

  19. Glory August 8, 2010

I like MOTH but I also desperately need ex-you and can’t be without you on the album. who da hell is making decisions. after even angels ex-you should have been the next single.

This guy talks about “Man of the House” being the first “chartable” possibility for Tasia. Did he miss the fact that “Bittersweet” has been on the charts for more than 2 months? Or does think the only chart in the world is the Top 40?

I sort of agree that Tasia will eventually need a new label, though.
