For all the studio wizardry at Polow’s disposal, how or why he OK’ed Lloyd’s cat-in-a-microwave vocals are beyond me. He sounded a hot burning mess. Honestly, one of the worst recordings I’ve heard in the longest of times. An utter shame, as the song’s promising production never sees its full potential realised after being laced with that atrocity. Appalling.

His “vocals” hurt my ears. The song is annoying as hell. Auto-tune and Voice Distortion does wonders for people, but while it did wonders for his voice, it still was annoying.

I was instantly expecting to hate this before listening to it, based on everyone’s comments and the description, but I can honestly say that it’s not NEARLY as bad I was expecting it to be. And dare I say it?? But I actually kinda like it….Sure, there were a couple of cat/screaming/waling notes here and there that shoulda been eliminated, but I thought overall, I honestly thought Lloyd sang his a*s off….didn’t even realize he had that in him. i think they tried to record something where he is using more power. Lloyd usually has this soft voice where he doesn’t really belt. That’s what it sounded like to me.
