T.I. revealed some interesting news to Rap-TV recently. The King of the South stated that his new album, ‘King Uncaged’, has been pushed back yet again and will no longer be released on September 28th. This marks the 2nd time that the record’s drop date has been rescheduled as it was originally slated for an August 17th release. Peep what Tip had to say about ‘King Uncaged’ below:

I think it’s probably for the best. His singles haven’t really made a huge splash on the charts. That one with him and Keri has grown on me, but it’s not enough to carry him to the release date. He needs to come with some hot ish real soon , he hasn’t as of yet.
I wasn’t too pleased with his last album. The only songs I liked were the ones he released as singles. *shrugs*

If you guys only knew what happens behind the scenes. This is marketing we are talking about here. Just because an artists pushes an album doesn’t mean ti will flop.

the industry is very fickle and you can release 1 tune and it can be a hit but if you was to release it a month later it could flop like Mariah’s last ‘effort’.

The songs he released for this new project are just not strong enough!
The push back is not a surprise.
He’ only pushing the album back because he wants those big holiday sales!
These artist aren’t fooling anyone! They know late Nov/all Dec is big music sales months! That’s why artists like Britney Spears, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys always drop their records late fall/early-mid winter.
T.I. is looking to compete with Eminem and Drake in terms of first week sales so he and his team have to be smart, which they are being by pushing it back!
T.I. hasn’t gave me that ‘UMPH’ he had before he went to jail. Now he did SLAY Drake’s song, ‘Fancy.’ He straight killed that verse. He also MURDERED his verse on Dirty Money’s ‘Hello Good Morning’. But as far as his own singles, he hasn’t released a hit, yet. I honestly don’t need him to release a hit, because I’m buying his album, anyway because he’s just a great rapper! So whenever it comes out, I’m getting it! Loves my T.I. <3
TIP has only put out 3 singles since he’s been out:
I’m Back (promo single for King Uncaged)
Yeah Ya Know (Promo single for Takers)
Got Your Back (official single for King Uncaged)
So let’s not act like he’s been releasing single after single that haven’t hit their mark.
If got your back was released with beyonce like it was meant to, T.I wud have more leverage, skeri is weak, no wonder the album is pushed and he needs a hot 2nd single, got your back wasnt fire at all

I like the T.I. that had 24s, Rubberman Man, Whatever You Like, Let’s Get Away, Big Things Poppin, and You Don’t Know Me. Maybe he should work with Swizz Beats again on a song or do another collaboration single like Swagger Like Us for a new single.

B*******, what are you talkin’ about splitting attention between the two? You dropped ATL and KING in the same week in 06,’ and both were done successfully. And you didn’t push this album back, ATLANTIC did, stop your huge egotistical front T.I. You’ve had your peak already, and the unfortunate thing about it is it was actually when you were one your way to the pen. HMM, wonder if Weezy will face the same issue. On a side note, he needs someone to help him with his damn grammar, I HATE the way he talks.
