Ne-Yo’s new album, ‘Libra Scale’, has been delayed again. The album will now hit stores on November 22nd (a Monday) during the same week as the release of Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ debut LP. This is the 3rd time that the record has been delayed since it’s initial release date of September 21st.

Although it would’ve been smarter to release the album when Libras are born (9/23-10/23) considering that the album is called LIBRA SCALE. But “Champagne Life” is #99 on the Hot 100 and “Beautiful Monster” has been completely knocked out of the Hot 100. Hopefully, is an album artist and not a single artist. Otherwise, he needs to go back to the drawing board.
His album will flop. He hasn’t released anything good as of late, not to mention going against Nicki is not a good look. Everyone knows that girl has all the hype right now.

I was expecting this, no buzz, no hype and no one’s playing his music! Add to that the constant diarrhea of the mouth turned peopleoff. This album won’t go silver much less gold although I do like ‘Champagne Life’ and ‘one in a million’. the vids are strong as well but his lable is gonna lose money.
Ciarra will suffer the same fate if she don’t hurry up and so will Brandy.
Brandy will do fine, she’ s setting everything up just right now, Dancing With The Stars along with her show are just ways that she is branching out to get herself back out there to the public, or people that may have forgotten about her or what not. She’s well known, but she’s marketing herself properly now. Neyo’s issue is that he’s starting to talk to much. When he was having success on the radio and his albums were doing well he did’nt have much to say, now he’s in everybodys business. He needs to focus on getting a hit song. Champagne Life’ was cool to me, and the new Million’ song he has out is good. He needs to vamp up his style tho, It’s tired now, same choreography,dances,songs, and look.
It’s nothing new, he’s become dated. Now he wants to rag on everybody because he isn’t fairing to well on the charts. I think he’s releasing around that time now, because he knows he’ll get higher sales, and it’ll help him to atleast go gold. He does have a loyal following.
She is scared and will flop. Nov. has some big releases.

I hate BEAUTIFUL MONSTER but love CHAMPAGNE LIFE. If he was trying to tell a story with the videos he should’ve done what Janet Jackson did w/ RHYTHM NATION & just release all the videos at one time. That would’ve created some type of interest in his album as a whole but now frankly, I just don’t care when the album comes out because I’m losing interest in Ne-Yo as an artist.

Darn…I went to pre-order only to find that the date was pushed to Nov. I love all the songs released so far as well as the videos. I guess it is all about what you like. I like the way he dresses and his song lyrics actually make sense. Some call him gay for the same reasons. Can’t please them all.
