A new video from Jason Derulo was released today. ‘The Sky’s The Limit’, which is not an official single, was produced by J.R. Rotem from Derulo’s self-titled debut album. Check it out below:
This was an interesting visual. However, while I appreciate the laser show and the light reflections, I remain unamused by Derulo’s constant attempt at recreating what was done by Michael Jackson (see: ‘Rock With You’ and ‘Scream’). Still, this was a respectable effort.
Sidebar: If Derulo never uses auto-tune again in his career after this record (and actually learns how to sing) I would be a very happy camper.

Once CB drops his next 2 singles ‘Calypso’ and ‘Yeah 3X’ , not to mention ‘Aint Thinking ‘Bout You’ & the ‘Deuces’ video with all those hot artist! CB is about to dominate all genres again! RIAA tells a different story…Derulo has yet to hit 300, 000 in the States. His people are lying on wikipedia because they know that the payola to the radio stations for all his songs have not paid off in album sales. All that radio play and he can’t even crack 300,000 in the States. Payola only goes so far, especially when you can’t sing live.
Derulo only has Gold and Plat certs for singles…all the pimping in the world will not turn him into an albums artist…Usher he is not and never will be..
