R&B star Keri Hilson cranked up the promotionial effort for her ‘No Boys Allowed’ LP tonight. Indeed, the 28 year old stunner took to the stage on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno show a few moments ago to perform her current single ‘Pretty Girl Rock’.

Solid. Very solid.
Given that Ms. Hilson used to move with Pinocchio stiffness, she’s most certainly upped her game on the choreography front, really ‘working’ the stage during the performance. If there’s one niggle, though, it’s that she sounded like she needed an asthma-pump at times with that out-of-breath delivery. Still, she held her own for the most part and garners our respect in doing so. Good stuff.

I was expecting more, especially after the build up from Sam. She needs to work on her vocal delivery. She has improved on her stage presence. She has never commanded the stage that way before, but you still have to do enough vocally for the people that don’t only listen with their eyes. It’s funny because people hate on Ciara’s singing , but if she performed this song she would be alot clearer. Keri should start by arranging the song better and giving more of a load for her background to carry.

She’s currently touring in Australia, performing in Arena’s. She’s coming back to us and beginning her official promo run (She got Ellen, George Lopez, David Letterman and much, much more) She’s also doing a concert during her album release week.
Keri performing on this night show isn’t anything outlandish. KEri hasn’t done any promo either as a matter of fact.
