Where did the mentality come from that there isn’t enough space for both of these artists?
Nicki Minaj’s music is way more commercial than Lil Kim’s, nobody says you have to like Nicki but why not just accept her existence and move on because coming on TGJ and arguing over her and Kim in the comments section won’t make her go anywhere.

Commercial music is music that is appealing across a broad spectrum of genres and people. i.e. Hip-Hop is typically black music where as Nicki Minaj’s music has pop influences too and is more likely to appeal to a white audience then something that consists of solely rap and no singing.
