Fans of BET’s The Game have cause for celebration. For, after a record-breaking revival, the hit show has been renwed for another season.

Melanie, Derwin and co will be making their way back to the small screen, after the ratings success of season 4 saw BET commission a 5th season this week.
What’s more, it appears the network are so pleased with the performance of the show, that they have returned it to its original 22 episode run (season 4 culminated at episode 13).
Production on the show resumes later this year.
Officially, call it a comeback!

this would be great news if they cancelled “Let’s Stay Together”.
SO GET THE TAPING STARTED IT NEEDS TO BE BACK ON B4 THE END OF THE YEAR.
I wonder if they got Kelly to be back on the cast. I’m sure she was pissed after being reduced to a guest star with only 4 episodes out of 13. Also, I think this news was already announced a couple months ago when BET said Meaghan Good will be a permanent cast member in the 5h season.

I wish they renew Girlfriends instead of this garbage. If it wasn’t for Tasha Mack, the show would be nothing.
Yay! This season was great and Lets Stay Together was pretty good. It was hard to watch it after being hyped up off the game tho but Ima still watch the show. Now the Game is gonna have to bring it next season and bring Kelly back. Oh! Tee Tee needs more lines too!

I have mixed feelings aboout this news. But I hope they bring the comedy back and I hope they make Kelly a regular character again! But other than that I can’t wait til the new seaon!

Season 4 of “The Game” was all over the place, too over the top, and I really didn’t like the new Brittany! Hopefully Season 5 will bring a steady storyline like the earlier seasons!
I’m OK with the new show “Let’s Stay Together” especially Stacy and Charles which is why I became interested in the show. The older woman younger man concept is really juicy and should have been more dialogue regarding this, but positive.
I am glad it is renewed. I just wish the storyline was as good as when it was on the CW. It hasn’t been quite the same. I also want to see them bring Tracee Ellis Ross who is Melanie’s cousin as a guest.

I didnt really get into THE GAME until BET picked it upp..but..loved this season..and will continue to watch next season…Tasha is a hot mess and im lovin itt!!..
I love the game! I don’t know why people said it was over the top. For 13 shows I think they did pretty good. I can’t wait for next season!
