In a survey carried out by Digital Spy, the entertainer was named Glastonbury’s favourite act by the festival’s viewers.
Making her the only female artist in the history of the event to achieve this feat adding to the record she holds for being the first female artist to headline the world renowned festival.
Nabbing a commendable 43.6% of the vote, the ‘Best Thing I Never Had’ performer beat rock legends ColdPlay and U2 to the top post.
It seems that once again Mrs.Carter unlike many of her chart sisters, has proven talent is her greatest asset.
Let us hope the promotional whirlwind that ‘4’ has generated in the last week translates into the record’s success in the long term.

I was not biased on what I said and I have been very respectful with Beyonce these last two weeks of promotion on the few posts I´ve commented, so relax. I´ve been just giving my opinion and for the most part giving her credit for doing her thing.
But calling this a record is really delusional. That is not a record. Could you imagine how many records we could start to bring on here for every single artist if we call a record to every accomplishment an artist achieves? She did an amazing job at Glastonbury. Especially ‘If I Were A Boy’, ‘Beautiful Ones & S** On Fire’ and ‘1+1’.
I can’t believe that she had the highest vote on the survey for best performance, when most people go to Glastonbury to watch rock bands. A female hasn’t headlined Glastonbury for twenty years and there has never been an african american woman headlining there. And she was asked to perform there. These are some great achievements.
