Eight positions lower than last week at #25 is Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Fly‘ whose album ‘Pink Friday’ was recently certified Gold in the UK for moving over 100,000 copies while ‘Super Bass‘ sits comfortably at #31.
Surprisingly, Coldplay and Rihanna’s ‘Princess Of China‘ made a less than impressive debut at #33 despite the momentum in garnered prior to its release, the song is 7 chart places above the singer’s ‘Cheers‘ which rounds up the Top 40.
On the album’s front, Adele‘s ‘21′ is this week’s 8 while ‘Loud’ by Ms. Fenty holds court at #14. Elsewhere, Katy Perry‘s ‘Teenage Dream‘ is #18 while Beyonce‘s ‘4‘ sits at #41 after 18 weeks on the chart.

Glad to see you’re reporting Beyonce’s chart positions Sam. No matter how good or bad she’s doing in anyone’s opinions it was pretty pathetic when you just stopped mentioning her entirely and did Beyonce posts about her walking all over NY. Most of the singles B released with this album have been pop so there’s not really a big change between this and her other albums. I think in the future she’ll return to music that can be played in clubs or songs about heartbreak/angry woman anthems.
For Rihanna this isnt really much of a fall. Over all her music tends to do well with audiences and based on the 4 different chart positions it’s clear they love her muchly over there.

I’m not gna sit here and list all of beyonces accomplishments but let’s just say even her “flop” album 4 is her fourth consecutive number one album and ill leave it at that .. The kind of music u do does impact the sales u have .. Rihanna does generic music for 2011 so ppl eat it up .. @ rated XX I see a difference between loud and Rated R in that Loud is much more like her very successful album GGGB. Where as Rated R is a heavier mix of new beats ( dubstep) she wanted to incorporate along with her old poppish sound Rude boy and so on. Also no she has never done a full dance album, and she still hasn’t so far so what are you saying. Loud was not a full dance album and we haven’t heard all the tracks off Talk the talk yet, so we really don’t know what she has on there. What I get from rihanna is that on each album she gives us a little bit of everything.

What you consider dance may not be what I consider dance. so we may never see things the same. I stand by my statement that she has always been doing dance from please don’t stop the music and SOS and have always been doing so from then on with some dance on each record. she has always incorporated a little bit for everyone on her albums and that’s what i love about her music.
