  2. Bow Down to The Perrylicious… (The Queen of TGJ) October 8, 2011

  3. Those That Cannot Do, Stan October 8, 2011

    I can’t take anything she says about bullying seriously after her own willfull silence on the bullying and online harrassment done by some of her little monsters. Change starts at home, till she addresses that u believe her to be nothing but a phony using that for attention.

  4. tyra October 8, 2011

    EXACTLY MY POINT INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON THE MESSAGE SHE IS TRYING TO CONVEY PPL FOCUS ON THIER OWN PERSONAL HATE TOWARDS GAGA R U TRYING TO DO SOIN TO RAISE AWARNESS ON BULLYING NO SO SHUT THE F*** UP

  5. noflyzone October 8, 2011

    I’m not that much of a Gaga fan, but if any of you above haven’t tried and do anything about bullying, please don’t bash Gaga. At least she’s using her celebrity to do something positive….

  7. Pop Royalty (RUDE BOY) October 8, 2011

    I don’t think that will change anything ….

    But probs to her I guess !!

  8. PRESSED???? October 8, 2011

    Yasssssss Gaga!Show them bullies whose boss

    Oh and if that TROLL who comments under Umpteen-million usernames shows up,B****,you’ve been caught!!!!

  9. bey’knight October 8, 2011

    she didnt have to do this at all and it won’t be nearly as topical as her next fashion WTF but she did it anyway. why dont u not worry about her intentions, thats arguable. the message she\s passing across however is not. Go with that.

    More Power to Gaga!!!

    If you have a bully problem, print a sign that says:

    WE EXPOSE BULLIES HERE: http://www.exposethebully.net/

    and post it all over your school, workplace or blog.

    I agree the message is good, the only problem is the world at large does judge the bringer of a message and will discredit a message if they don’t believe the bringer’s intentions.

    Ask fans of the man who saw some of Gaga’s monsters threaten to put him in a wheelchair if they respect or will listen to the message coming from her.

    Ask fans of Adele who may also share her body type whether they feel love and support from Gaga when some of her monsters ridiculed her for her body.

    Like I said. Change begins at home. You can’t condemn bullying while sheltering people who do it on your behalf. Gaga could easilly slip in a polite but firm message that she wants everyone, including her fans, to treat everyone in a respectful kind manner and never condemn someone for how they look or threaten violence against them.

    As she has not curbed some of the bullying done by some of her fans many people will not really tale this attempt seriously and simply humor or dismiss her. I like the message, it’s the hypocrisy I’m troubled by, otherwise I’ve been supporting anti-bullying campaigns for years.

  12. KENUDIGME October 8, 2011

    HOW CAN YALL BASH ANYONE FOR DOING ANYTHING POSITIVE! WHETHER ITS FAKE OR NOT…ITS DONE and ITS FOR A GOOD CAUSE. YOU WHO ARE THE BASHERS and THE NAY-SAYERS ARE THE BULLIES OF THIS WORLD….PLZ GO KILL URSELF ASAP!

  13. Pop Royalty (RUDE BOY) October 8, 2011

    @THOSE THAT CAN NOT DO :

    CO-sign ! you said it !!! but the attitude of her monsters has nothing to do with her intentions !

  14. LaLa October 8, 2011

    “I like the message, it’s the hypocrisy I’m troubled by”

    This… Agreed with you @Those That Can Not Do

    I’m so sorry, I liked her music & I liked her support about this,
    but if only she speak her Peace mind with the people/stans around her about this so called bullying. example: Perez Hilton her BFF, bullying every Celebs *Floptina cough cough* & her Stans getting Mad at Adele about that Nominees & bashing her body image instead. & Recently, She sued her fan coz she/he created a fansite ladygaga.org & wanted that domain for herself???! Whooooaaa… smh

    Cmon Darling GaGa…

  15. LadyGaGa Fan October 8, 2011

    She is invovled in positive things,in trying
    to make a difference, unlike most of the
    hiphop community sit by and do nothing
    unless is good p.r.for their image. Antibullying
    doesnt fit into their image.

  16. Those That Cannot Do, Stan October 8, 2011

    @Lala

    Exactly. I understand some people are really fans of her and don’t appreciate the criticism but I’m sorry this is a serious issue and I don’t appreciate the things she’s chosen to speak on while ignoring what could hurt her own pocket and reputation. For instance if she spoke out against Perez or some of her monsters bullying that could possibly make her a target by him or make some fans shun her. Instead she keeps silent and some of them on one hand rep the message of “Born This Way” but then go after people literally like monsters for her.

    @Pop Royalty
    The problem is her response to some of her monsters bullying does speak on her intentions. I remember seeing girls who would seem so nice and caring but their friends would be the ones insulting and bullying other girls. At first I used to defend those girls saying that they were good people it was just their friends who were b******. I finally realized and saw for myself that those girls were just as bitchy and mean. Because they had other girls doing the dirty work and looking evil they could look sweet and kind but the fact they didn’t tell those girls to stop or speak up about how mean they were being meant they didn’t care or want them to stop. As Lala said where was the anti-bullying message when a close friend of her’s (Perez) was publicly shredding other celebs for her. Where was it when a public figure was getting mocked because her body shape and size because she won more awards than Gaga? I think publicly defending Adele would have reached a LOT of teenage gis who are in the same painful situation. Instead she ignored it…what do you think that says to those girls?

  17. LaLa October 8, 2011

    ^Oh Yess!!! Finally another Sane people on TGJ! I super super agreed with your statement, esp. this:

    “they had other girls doing the dirty work and looking evil they could look sweet and kind but the fact they didn’t tell those girls to stop or speak up about how mean they were being meant they didn’t care or want them to stop”

    GaGa needs to put her Glass Mask & show the real her (Stefani Germanotta). She didn’t need all this “I’m the saviour” to be legendary. now people may see that she’s not that genuine after all, it’s all about the fame, money & attentions. at least that’s what I see. 🙁

  18. dang October 8, 2011

    y’all r such b******.. she’s standing up for a good cause. just because katy perry’s fanbase (perrylicious) doesn’t see past her boobs

  19. webrondun@yahoo.com October 8, 2011

    Looks like the queens. Just wanna be mad that Gaga’s not defending their Fav. Gaga’s defending Bulying one step at a time.
    Your shooting the messenger not the message. How is Trying to defend gays a bad thing?

  20. Pop Royalty (RUDE BOY) October 8, 2011

    @THOSE THAT CAN NIT DO :

    I am agree with what you said ! I think she’s doing all that for attention and not so serious about it ! I really like her as an artist , but I don’t take her ass seriously when she do s*** like that , she is just not convincing !!

    Just look WTF is she wearing while she was talking about that issue ?! How any grown person will take her ass seriously ?!

    even her monsters clearly do not understand or at least APPLY what she say !! they cry when ppl bully them and keep ” singing” born this way , but do they put her words into action ?! judging from what they do to Adele , I do not think so !!!

    And don’t get me started on that b**** called Perez hilton !! this b**** like no body beside herself ! she will kill her mama if gaga told her to do it !! he is a gaga s**** ! …

    Gaga is drowning in her own s*** clearly , she wants anything for attention , crazy outfit, offending religious beliefs , talking about issues she do not really support or not even remotely related to her , etc.. it is all for attention and to be on news !! I really miss her stefani days ! I
    don’t like the s*** she’s doing !

    I am totally agree ! she is not genuine about it , she just wanna portray herself as a caring person , but it is not genuine ” but she is with her fans TBH” ! But at least NOT with this issue !

  21. Those That Cannot Do, Stan October 8, 2011

    @Lala

    Yeah that’s how I started to feel about her too. I think this whole era just left a bad taste in my mouth because I saw so many things from her that made me doubt her authenticity.

    She’s a great singer and can put on a great show (hate the choreography though) I hope she stops trying to inject herself in subjects being well handled by people truly practicing what they preach.

    @ Web

    It’s been pretty clearly explained. Bullying campaigns had been going on for years before Gaga, they ‘d been doing quite well and it had become a public issue. Basically, Gaga hopped onto it when it became easy.

  22. Those That Cannot Do, Stan October 8, 2011

    @Pop Royalty

    That’s also what I’m afraid of. Gaga makes a great pop star but she is not the best person to be dealing in serious circumstances. Politics is very complex and best believe there’s no greater ‘ shoot the messenger’ view than in politics. If they think you’re a joke or don’t respect you they WILL push you and your issue under the rug. That’s why I’m glad bullying was being handled before Gaga’s involvement.

    I normally wouldnt expect a singer to have to control their fans but if she wants to call herself ‘Mother’ Monster and campaign against bullying I’m gonna need her to hop on twitter or YouTube and say ” Be the example Little Monsters” but I can’t take her seriously when she does – not – say – a – word. What does that say? “Bullying is wrong little Monsters unless you’re defending me, then it’s cool.”

  23. Eric October 8, 2011

    So because of her monsters the message is not taken seriously… well. Yes, I agree that little does she knows her actions might put half of her hardcore fan base in behind the bars.

    But I think she doesn’t know about it. Do you think her fans will be telling her that directly to her? “Hey Gaga, do you think Adele is a fat-boring flop?” In the same way a Katy Perry fan above called Gaga a ‘moron’, should Katy Perry’s actions and words be judge based on what her fans say? NO. Should we bring Perrylicious (smh) into account when Katy Perry goes on supporting some kind of No-Hate cause as strongly as Gaga’s supporting this one? NO!

    They are singers, for as much love and whatever they try to spread they will never touch a person further than the connection singer-stan. That’s what it is. They’ll feel offended if their Idol is not put on a pedestal and will go after the ones who are on top just to liberate their childish anger. Someday they will look back and see how stupid they were, how much time they wasted and how much they pointlessly focused on the person, rather than the artist.

  24. ENGINE-EAR October 9, 2011

    @ERIC

    i agree. it’s so refreshing to finally see someone who is actually sane and rational on this blog.
