The eighth live show of X Factor 2011 aired tonight.
{For those unfamiliar with The X Factor, the show is the UK’s version of American Idol – with a twist in that groups and over 28’s are eligible to enter. Now in it’s seventh season, the show is responsible for birthing the careers of Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, and JLS. Its US incarnation launched last month on FOX}.

Wow the UK Xfactor is wayyyy better than our USA X Factor! I love all the performers except for Janet. Janet seems to be a sweet girl but I think she has the wrong career choice. She’s awfully shy and her voice sounds like a little girl.
I love all the other performances but the best one tonight is Marcus! Wow does he have it all! His first upbeat performance made me want to dance and his ballad made me want to cry. Go Marcus! : )

The show is in it’s 8th season right ? and the only acts that came out of it are Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, and JLS ? I’m just wondering …
@TEHARA thats just three of them, it has spawned careers for Cher Lloyd, One Direction, Rebecca Ferguson, Olly Murs, Jedward & Diana Vickers too. It’s usually the ones who come in second or third who become more succesful, the ‘winner’ usually gets dropped after a year.
