The coming year is gearing up to be quite eventful for Rap Royal Nicki Minaj.
Because, after generating excitement within her fan base yesterday by announcing the release of a new album ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded‘ , today saw more good news swing by her way.
She has been added to the star studded line up of the 2012 Grammy Awards celebratory event.

Airing on CBS on November 30th, “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night” will see the Rapper enjoy the company of fellow starlets Lady GaGa and Rihanna who are two of the evening’s performers.
On the night which will see the nominations for the 2012 Grammy‘s announced, Minaj will serve as a host alongside Katy Perry, both of whom have will be hoping to score a nomination in the Record Of The Year category in which they have both submitted songs for.
Well done Nicki.
Here’s to hoping coming months will see continue to redefine what it truly means to be a Contemporary Rapper.
For, if she does succeed in winning a Grammy for any of the nominations she is sure to be included in, it will only serve to cement her status as one Hip Hop’s leading debutantes.
