Two nights ago, That Grape Juice came across a number of tweets from members of Lil Kim‘s fan base criticizing her decision to withhold the release of her long awaited EP to support her friend Floyd Mayweather.
The boxer was recently found guilty of assaulting the mother of his children right in front of them back in September.
Now, the Rapper’s close friend and assistant, Noel, has taken to Twitter in response to the harsh criticism his boss is currently facing.
His telling comments below…

While we completely understand Kim’s desire to ‘be a friend’ to both Floyd and ‘The Money Team‘, we’re not sure why she feels the need to put everything on hold to support him in court when he’s going to go to jail regardless of whether she is or isn’t there.
For, if she is truly serious about reclaiming her title as the ‘Queen Of Rap‘, Kim must realize that as a business woman, shrewd decisions are at times necessary.
Decisions that may at times sour friendships but will guarantee her chances of being successful in the long run.
Because it case she hadn’t noticed, it is not the glorified hood rats she associates with that have the power to get her back on top.
That power lies in her fans,who have spent the last two years defending her cause when the entire world has mocked them for doing so.
Let’s just hope she realizes that when Floyd finishes his sentence, his career will- in many ways- remain just as an intact as it was before and that if she is not careful, she may fall into old habits and spend more time helping others at the expense of helping herself.

There is nothing wrong with supporting a friend, but I believe that most of her fans pissed about the lack of updates and her being completely silent about what was going on.
