In response to her major wins at Sunday night’s Grammys, the US public is set to purchase 500,000 or so copies of the LP this week, more than a year after its release.
If this come to pass, she will actually best her the project’s first week sales, which saw her move 352,000 units in February 2011 and coincidentally spend its 21st week atop the Billboard 200.
This, extending its lead as the highest selling LP of the century and bringing it one step closer to matching or exceeding the sales of Michael Jackson‘s ‘Thriller’, a feat once thought to be impossible.
