After nearly a year hiatus from the music scene, looks like ‘Spotlight’ singer Jennifer Hudson is ready to get back in the spotlight with the Ne-Yo and Rick Ross-assisted ‘Think Like A Man’. The lead single from the soundtrack of the Steve Harvey book turned movie (also sharing the same title), funny man Kevin Hart (who also stars in the film) guests the Chris Robinson-directed visual.
See JHUD and co get down with the get down. It all awaits below:
Guess Clive is really amping Jhud to ‘step-up’ her diva. If such is the case, its working! Good to see her step a little outside of her comfort zone into a two-step here and there. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a more relaxed Jen. A Jen, of course, that doesn’t become too involved in the choreography because such is certainly not her strong suit – it just helps enhance the show.
Either way, if radio had sense, the song would be a hit. The surprising compliment of Jhud’s voice with the knocking beat and inclusion of Ricky Rozay and Ne-Yo make this a homerun. The video…well it served its purpose. Nothing spectacular, but certainly gets the point across.
