From Atlanta to Australia, there are very few who haven’t come across Rap belle Iggy Azalea.
Rising to fame last summer with the viral hit ‘PUY‘, the last few months have seen the MC go from strength to strength, singing with Interscope back in January and making XXL‘s 2012 Freshman cover earlier this week.
Today, in what we’d say is phenomenal news, she has signed to TI’s ‘Grand Hustle’ label, in a further bid to raise her US profile.

Clearly, Young Money‘s success is serving as a precedent for many an aspiring Rap mogul.
Hoping to replicate Wayne’s success with Nicki Minaj, only time will tell how TI’s deal with Azalea will benefit her in the long run.
Because, as much as we commend the signing, we’re not sure why she needed to join Grand Hustle after securing a deal with Interscope, who we assume will have final say on any major decisions pertaining her career.
On the other hand, this ‘double deal’ makes complete sense if Iggy is to become a Rap act with a Pop star’s budget, a la Drake.
Either way, here’s to her continued success and a debut worthy of her enormous hype.
