Well if ever there was doubt surrounding the legitimacy of the new svelte physique she flaunted in it, it’s dispelled with this behind the scenes look at the ad.
The Pop megastar, who bares an uncanny resemblence to herself 10 years ago (see: ‘All For You’ era), strikes pose after fierce pose in the David Meyers shot feature.

Needless to say, Janet looks incredible! Easily the best we’ve seen her in years. So, with her in fighting form, what time is better than the present to launch her long-awaited music “comeback”?
Given the industry’s current youth obsession, it’s unlikely she’d set the charts ablaze in the way she did during her heyday. Nor is that even important.
Janet, from our standpoint, serves as the Queen of Pop, yet this “exploit my megastar status” is a memo Madonna seems to have received and ran with. Indeed, her latest LP, ‘MDNA’, may be collecting dust, yet it is succeeding: in a) giving her a vehicle to tour with, b) satisfying today’s “visual era” with new videos, and c) keeping her name relevant and out-there.
How awesome would it be if Janet – the better performer, the classier act, and the one filled with more vitality – subscribed to the same “latter career model”?

Sam, The Madonna stans are going to jump on your statement about Janet being your choice for Queen of Pop (although she clearly is despite Madge’s media whoredom).
Anyway, it’s funny to me how forgetful the general public can be though, cuz janet hasn’t been thick since 2009. She’s really been slim since before the production of For Colored Girls, which began in the summer of 2010. She may have gained/lost a few pounds here and there since then, but she clearly hasn’t been big. So all this all of a sudden she’s lost so much weight is ridiculous.
Janet looks like a GODDESS! She cant do no wrong in my book! Anytime a 45 year old woman puts 20 year olds to shame got to be something special! She looks good and very happy!!!!!!!!

The Queen of Pop looks amazing!!! and kudos to her for keeping the weight off. To echo, B Lamont, she’s been smaller since her last movie, but this is the best she’s looked in years!!! I agree that she looks almost identical to 2001’s All For You era.
