Christina Aguilera may have spent the last two years coaching other acts on hit show ‘The Voice’, but this summer will mark her long awaited return to her own career, by way of a new single.

According to Billboard, the Pop Queen will release her new single by the summer’s end and if their report is to be taken as gospel, fans can expect a Max Martin produced ‘club banger’.
They explain:
A source tells Billboard that Aguilera is working hard on the follow-up to 2010’s “Bionic,” and that a new single is expected to be released in early August. The club banger was produced by Swedish pop hit-maker Max Martin, and its chorus is built around the line, “All I want to do is what you wanted.”
As one of Pop’s more gifted entities, we can’t wait to hear what Christina serves up.
So, here’s to a stellar new album, a faultless promo campaign and the commercial and critical acclaim ‘Bionic’ was never afforded.

You know i’m getting reall tired of these artists using Tv shows to sell a single they OTHERWISE couldn’t get nobody to listen to or buy. I’m sorry if not every artists has a singing show on a few times a week for half a year. It’s ridiculous. If BeYAWNce was the star of The Voice 4closure would have slayed and everyone of those songs woulda been huge on iTunes. It’s tired, and in some ways, slanted and unfair. It’s lame bottom line. J.Lo’s big hit really was only able to be a hit due to her constat presence on American Idol. Not to mention “I’m Into You,” and “Papi” flopped the MOMENT American Idol wrapped up. Let’s see if Christina can slay on her own because LORD KNOWS it’s been years. She’s lucky she has the Voice to propel her, now if she flops all her stans have some explaining to do.
Her las top 10t hit was in 2008 “Keeps Gettin Hit”, & “Not Myself Tonight” debut & peaked at #23 upon release. So, I don’t know why people keep trying it. People always try to act like one bad album means the end of someone’s career & making them irrelevant. If you don’t like her, don’t come on her post commenting because clearly you weren’t interested in her at all, but to say something seemingly negative. Burlesque did extremely well considering she was in her “flopping” era, & her DVD is still working (I work with DVD’s in merchandising). Every artist has a bad period, the only thing “The Voice” helped is to clear the misconception of her having a bad attitude, people would just assume behind “reports” & words being taken & spinned. If her label had promoted “Bionic” & Perez wasn’t being such a bitter queen, & people could think of their own & not follow his opinion she would’ve did fine. Don’t forget Bionic was #2 most downloaded album of 2010, & was hailed top pop album of 2010.

I heard the Chris Brown CD today and that was good, but this new is GREAT! Bring it! I’ve been waiting for this for 2 years already. I am a fan of Bionic but I’m looking forward to her being real consistently on this album. i hope vocalists will take the spot light again. im so sick of these terrible singers who sound lovely on the radio, but are like a train-wreck on stage. its time to bring back the singers who you’d rather see live! the ones whose live tracks sound better then studio! i havent been a fan of her music since dirrty, but vocally, she is rarely matched. Love Mariah, Love Demi. All three of them are extremely wonderful vocalists and i’m happy to see people with actual talent coaching these contestants.
