‘Your Body’ beauty Christina Aguilera is set to unveil her latest body of work through ‘Lotus’ – her highly anticipated follow-up to 2010’s ‘Bionic’.
Due November 13th, Aguilera has already teased fans with the visual to ‘Body’, already racking up millions of views (and counting) on the web.

I loved ‘Your Body’ but from the snippets it sounds like she released the weakest song as her lead single. I want a performance of “Just a Fool” on The Voice. Oh and sampling the MMC theme song in MtWM? Yeah, I’m here for that.

I’m def. buying this album. Your Body was a nice song but with good songs, they don’t always equal good plays on the radio. But this album is given me life. I’ll def. be getting Lotus Nov 13th. I trusted the reviews here and brought 2/11 by Brandy, so I’ll trust the reviews again, and get slayed twice back 2 back.

Saying these snippets sound uninspired? You’ve got to be kidding me! These snippets alone slay everyone in the game right now! I can’t stand when people hate on true talent! Her vocals & the production sound amazing from what I can tell…I didn’t want to even listen to them prior to buying Lotus but I am so glad I did!!!! I get it & I have been moved…So proud to be an Xtina fan! The songs sound so universal, like everyone can vibe to them regardless of genre preference. I also feel like once I have the album, my favorite song will change everyday, IMO a quality of an amazing album, it’s a mood album…Well worth the wait!! IDK if the new album will be a “commercial success” or not, because apparently she’s too talented & real for people’s taste LOL, but she did the damn thing!

Haters are always going to hate. Whether Christina is thick or skinny, wins or flops, happy or sad, single or taken…you just cant win with them. If she loses the weight, the haters will call her anorexic or bellemic, if she’s happy haters will say she’s faking it, if she’s mad or sad haters will call her a bitter b****, if she dresses more conservatively haters will say she looks old…haters are like an old broken record player.
If Christina does more ballads, the haters will accuse her of trying to be like Adele (even though a lot of them say she should stick to big ballads and a non commercial sound), she can’t win with that either because even if she does more commercial music, the haters will accuse of her trying to rip off of everybody else.
Haters will always be against Christina because she is a true threat to all those other manufactured gimmicks who are untalented and rely on cheap tactics just to stay relevant. They will never show growth in their music like Christina does and their relevancy will not be as thick or strong when they are in their 10th year, like Christinas is.

The Good: Her middle-low register sounds warm and very nice
The Bad: Many of the songs sound like last year’s Rihanna B-sides

Excuse me but in what universe do you actually think you are that significant to Xtina. Yeah, you might be a music and voice expert/scholar (so you like to brag) but I don’t think she actually invests time to worry about negative opinions like yours. She’s a multi millionaire and grammy winner and received lots of accolades from her artisty and career. And fyi, she’s versatile. This album will flop….Christina has had chance after chance to release a new single after seeing that your body was flopping and still nothing… You never can judge an album by snippets. I did with 2/11 and was sorely disappointed when I brought the actual product.Here’s hoping she goes gold this time.
This album has no buzz(aside from stans),no big single and public opinion of her hasn’t soften even with her being on the voice. Its sad to see our great talents fade away but Christina,Beyonce,Kelly, Britney,Pink,Kelly Clarkson all of those artist are fading and nothing their stanbase can say to deny it.

I actually didn’t really like Brandy’s album besides the two songs “PID” and “Wildest Dreams” a lot of the songs sounded the same and she kept using the same singing register in every song. Kinda boring.
Good thing about Xtina is that you will never hear her use the same tone. And her music has an unpredictable sound to it.

In terms of X, I’ve simply come to realize that, at this point in her career, “Stripped” will remain my favorite album from her. I like stripped down, jazz, live instrumentation Christina, with a dash of hip-POP influence. Oh well….
She seems to continue to push her sound and I can definitely appreciate that about her. I am definitely going to preview the album in its entirely & I’ll determine whether or not I’ll purchase it after that listen.

She’s a pop artist. Duh. Given all that, it still stands for the term “popular” but not all pop music is bad. (examples: Whitney, MC, and your fave Celine) I don’t think I’ve heard any songs by her that were generic since the songs sound like no one else. I’llet that be your opinion.
