The diva extreme is gearing up for the global launch of her new single ‘#Beautiful’ and so as to whip up a buzz for the Miguel assisted cut has unwrapped its official cover.
A collage of sorts, the visual pieces together stills from the song’s Joseph Kahn directed video — which is slated to arrive shortly after the track hits iTunes.
What’s more, in a bid to ensure the song gets off to a ‘#Beautiful’ start, Mimi will be performing it live on the American Idol finale in two weeks, as well as on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series which she kicks off on May 24th.

What is it with record labels not hiring great graphic designers for album and single covers now-a-days?! As a graphic designer myself, this is ticking me off. Not just with this cover, but with a lot of the official covers now-a-days. Like Mariah is honestly too talented and too much of a legend for a cover like this. I’ve noticed this too, Chris Brown is probably the worst offender but literally I’ve seen Brixton Bashment flyers with more creative flair than what currently passes for artist promo artwork. I’m like where are the themes? I swear Rihanna Inc. is the only one who gets it right. I understand videos cost a lot but photography and fonts are surely within budget.
