The vocal sensation has been announced as the latest performer at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

Today saw the 20-year-old along with Austin Mahone revealed as the first names to rock the stage at the pre-show for one of music’s biggest calendar nights.
Set to take place August 25th at New York’s Barclay’s Center, this year’s show will mark the 30th anniversary of the VMA’s – which makes Ms. Grande’s slot even more coveted.
She is expected to perform ‘Baby I’, the second single to be lifted from her hotly anticipated debut album ‘Yours Truly’ (due September 3rd).
Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, Robin Thicke, and Miley Cyrus are among the names set to take to the main stage at next Sunday’s showcase.
Of course, this WHITE girl doing R&B song will be invited to such award show… Don’t ever think of a black woman doing the same thing though. (Except for the 3 big names of course)
