However, in a move that’s seen them take sales pulled from digital preorders into account, Chart News have announced a revised figure for the album.
A figure, that sings to the tune of…
72,000 units.
Published hours after HDD stormed the net with their first week digits, Michelle’s new numbers see her not only surpass sales prediction made by industry insiders last week, but- as explained above- exceed the first opening week number published!
Congratulations it seems, are most certainly in order!

Folks care about first week album sales the way studios care about first weekend premiere sales.
Save for a miracle most albums put their best music first because first week sales will always be the highest. After that it’s a guarantee the album will continue to sell less and less.
